About Kat Flows

Jenn Parretta, aka Kat Flows, has devoted herself to teaching the world how to heal through the creative making process and movement arts. She is currently a Master's student, focusing on Child and Family Therapy with an Art Therapy specialization at Antioch University Seattle. Some of her special interests include sex therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, autism spectrum disorders, and mood disorders. She also is a registered behavior technician through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

She loves painting in various mediums, some of her favorites include gouache and acrylic. Kat focuses on themes that encompass growth and self awareness, themes she has used in the past include strong feminine figures, herbal medicine, astrology, tarot, sacred geometry, color theory, and more! She is currently aiming to do more live painting work, so that others can see the creative process unfold before them. 

As a dancer, Kat teaches and performs all over the Pacific Northwest. Some places she has performed include Freaknight 2018, Resolution 2019, Bumbershoot 2017 & 2018, La Petite Mort, SoundDown Seattle Silent Discos, Vuelta la Luna Circus, music videos, and more! She has taught workshops at What the Festival and Lakewood Summerfest as well. 

As a model, Kat has been doing shoots her whole life. From doing beauty pageants as a little girl to doing runway shows as an adult. She has experience modeling in fashion, lingerie, import cars, cannabis, runway, promotional work, commercials, music videos, and more. 

As an everyday Kat, she loves to eat pineapple, go on hikes, paint in the sun, cook vegan food, and read endless psychology books. 

Kat currently resides in Tacoma, WA.

 

Education:

- Current student at Antioch University--Master of Art's in Child & Family Therapy with an Art Therapy Specialization

- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family Science from Central Washington University

- Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with focuses in Psychology and Studio Art from Pierce College
